About us and the Holiday Home MAYKA
It all began with a dream – the dream of a house in the mountains. A place of retreat from everyday life, stress, and restlessness, yet also a starting point for adventure, sports, relaxation, and balance.
We are the Mayrhofer-Kasper family from Upper Austria, and we love spending our free time together in the mountains. Family means a great deal to us. That’s why we named the two apartments after our beloved grandmothers, Anita and Maria – as a small token of gratitude and connection.
The apartments are designed to suit different needs:
The larger one is perfect for families and groups.
The smaller one is ideal for couples looking for an active yet romantic holiday, or for small families.
Our house combines rustic alpine charm with contemporary architecture, modern amenities, and high comfort. With ski lifts, cross-country trails, and hiking paths just a stone’s throw away, the Holiday Home MAYKA is the perfect “base camp” for days full of nature, movement, culinary delights, relaxation, and adventure in the Carinthian Nockberge mountains.
The Holiday Home MAYKA is meant to be a place where unforgettable memories are created – moments that give you strength and lift you up like mountains. A place you’ll always want to return to.
